Sister companies COMAR SYSTEMS and MARINE DATA SYSTEMS are pleased to announce that they will be attending the Sea Asia 2017 Exhibition in Singapore, April 25th – 27th.

Sea Asia 2017 – South East Asia’s premier maritime conference and exhibition – will be held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore for its 6th Edition. In conjunction with Singapore Maritime Week 2017, this show will bring together leading ship owners, offshore operators, ship managers and shipyard procurement teams from around the globe.

COMAR and MARINE DATA – both part of the Katon Ingram Group – will have a prime location in the British Pavilion, a grouping organised by the UK’s Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) and sponsored by the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT).

The 3-day conference and exhibition promises to provide a plethora of diverse marine products and services, with vast networking opportunities. COMAR SYSTEMS will be showcasing the latest in AIS vessel tracking equipment – the SLR350Ni Intelligent Network Receiver with Wi-Fi. MARINE DATA will be exhibiting their latest Sunlight Readable Multi-Function Display – the MD75MFD.  Of course, staff will be on hand to discuss all your enquiries – or just to chat and share a coffee!

Comar Systems Ltd now part of the Katon Ingram Group of Companies

Since June 2015, Comar Systems Ltd is part of the Katon Ingram Group of Companies, based outside of Newport, Isle of Wight, alongside Marine Data Systems. The two Companies benefit from technical collaboration and the extensive environmental testing equipment located at the facility.

The operation is moving to Katon Ingram facilities outside of Newport, Isle of Wight where Marine Data Systems, another Katon Ingram Company, are based. Comar SLR300N Network AIS Receiver for Coastal Monitoring Applications

Connected to a PC, via the industry standard RJ45 Ethernet connector, the SLR300N enables AIS data to be viewed directly, or shared on a local network. The unit can also be mounted at a remote location and AIS data sent via the Internet to a fixed IP address for use on a dedicated server.

The SLR300N has been specifically designed for use by the professional market and uses the well proven and internationally specified Comar high sensitivity dual channel parallel receiver.
