What to do if my R400 series receiver has been factory reset?

If your R400 series receiver has been accidently factory reset, you will need the original Digi password in order to setup your device correctly again. On units installed with an older Digi module, the original default username and password is shown in the manual under section 8.4 Configuring the Network Settings.

However, newer Digi modules have a unique password for each unit, which is based on the new Cyber Protection regulation. During manufacturing these usernames and passwords are changed in-house for security reasons. The unique password is indicated on both the serial number label of the R400 unit, and the one on the box of the unit.
