How do I adjust the baud rate on my T200B?
Most modern equipment that the T200B is capable of interfacing with will require a baud rate of 38,400bps, however the T200B can provide the 4800bps that some older equipment needs.
The T200B has 2 NMEA0183 output ports, output port1 is set to 38400 by default and output port2 is set to 4800. If the required baud rate is known prior to installation you are able to select either port as your transmission source.
To change the default baud rate on either port after installation you can configure the unit using the proAIS2 software that is available to download from the Software Downloads section of our website.
Detailed wiring and configuration instructions can be found in the User Manual.
