NMEA-2-WiFi Connection issues

Comar’s NMEA-2-WiFi unit is a convenient way to add WiFi functionality to your AIS device. If you are having trouble connecting to a WiFi capable device such as your smartphone to use an app based chart plotter make sure that your device is capable of:

• Receiving a TCP/IP connection, the NMEA-2-WiFi will not work with a UDP connection
• Seeing a transmission on the 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11b/g WiFi band.
