OVERVIEW
The R450-DG is a professional-grade AIS receiver with an integrated GNSS receiver (supporting GPS & GLONASS), designed for shoreside monitoring of vessel traffic within VHF range. It decodes all AIS message types, including Class A, Class B, Aids to Navigation, and SARTs, while also providing accurate GNSS positioning data alongside the AIS feed.
With both Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, the R450-DG streams AIS and GNSS data directly to PCs, servers, or mobile devices over wired or wireless networks. It supports local monitoring, sharing data across a network, or sending AIS and GNSS data over the Internet to a fixed IP address for centralised display.
The compact ABS enclosure with carbon-reinforced connector slides is lightweight yet durable, and houses Comar’s proven high sensitivity dual-channel parallel AIS receiver, trusted in professional environments worldwide.
The R450 series is offered in a number of variants to suit different requirements:
D Series use a Digi® network module, offering support for up to 32 simultaneous UDP connections.
X Series use a Lantronix® XPort® module, supporting up to 4 TCP and 1 UDP client/server connections.
E Suffix models are Ethernet-only variants and do not include a Wi-Fi module. (Contact us for more information)
G Suffix models include an integrated GNSS receiver.
